The classic American Red Velvet Cake has long been popular worldwide and convinces with its deep red color, velvety texture and slightly vanilla-chocolaty taste. For every 100g of baking mix, only 46g of egg, 8g of butter, 8g of oil and 22ml of water need to be added. Beat all ingredients together for 10 minutes on the highest setting (food processor or hand mixer) and then bake for about 40 minutes at 200 °C.
