FunCakes Royal Icing Mix creates a firm icing that sets completely hard. Simply add water to the mix to create an excellent icing for coating and decorating your cakes. This royal icing is also ideal for piping decorations and glazing cookies.

Preparation: Sift 450 g of mix and combine with 55 ml of water to achieve a stiff consistency. Mix the ingredients steadily for approximately 7–10 minutes until the icing turns pale, loses its sheen, and forms peaks that hold their shape without drooping. If using a hand mixer, take care to ensure the motor does not get stuck!

Tip: To thin the icing, add 1 teaspoon of water per 200 g of prepared royal icing for a medium consistency, or 2 teaspoons for a thin consistency.
