Mix for a delicious, airy chocolate-flavored sponge cake base.

Preparation: Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan-assisted oven: 160°C). Combine the mix with the eggs and water, and beat the batter at high speed for 78 minutes. Then, mix for another 23 minutes at low speed. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan (filling it 1/2 to 2/3 full) and bake in the preheated oven until done. Do not open the oven during baking! The cake is done when it springs back when touched. Remove from the pan immediately after baking and let cool on a wire rack.
