Product information "FunCakes Mix for Royal Icing 450 g"
Easily make royal icing with this mix from FunCakes. You simply need to add water to prepare the icing. This is a firm icing that sets completely hard; it is ideal for coating cakes, piping decorations, and glazing cookies.
Preparation: Sift 450 g of the mix and combine with 55 ml of water to create a stiff-consistency royal icing. Mix the ingredients together steadily for approximately 710 minutes until the icing turns pale, loses its sheen, and forms peaks that hold their shape without drooping. If using a hand mixer, take care to ensure the motor does not get overloaded!
Tip: To thin the icing, add water to every 200 g of prepared royal icing: 1 teaspoon for medium consistency or 2 teaspoons for thin consistency.
