A wonderfully creamy frosting, suitable for filling cakes or topping cupcakes.

Preparation: Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. For one portion: whisk 125 g of the mix with 125 ml of water and let the mixture set at room temperature for at least one hour. Beat 150 g of unsalted butter until light and fluffy (approx. 5 minutes). Gradually add the mixture to the butter, mixing thoroughly after each addition until fully incorporated. Continue mixing until a smooth cream forms (approx. 10 minutes). One portion of buttercream is sufficient to fill and frost a 20 cm cake or to top approximately 12 cupcakes.
