Cakes, biscuits, ice cream, desserts, tarts or cream - hardly any of these delicious creations can do without the aroma of bourbon vanilla.

However, it can only call itself bourbon vanilla if the vanilla plant is grown on one of the "Bourbon Islands". These include the Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Réunion (formerly called Île Bourbon) and the Seychelles. This is where the name Bourbon vanilla comes from.

Since the aromatic spice is not always available as a vanilla bean at home, our bourbon vanilla paste is perfect for baking.

Our bourbon vanilla paste is much easier to use than a whole vanilla bean, which has to be cut open and scraped out. Based on rice syrup, the fine fragrance and delicious flavour of the vanilla bean is retained in the paste without any loss of flavour.

The paste is easy to stir into batter, creams and cream. 1 teaspoon of paste corresponds to the flavour of a whole vanilla bean. Thanks to the resealable tube, a vanilla bean is always at hand, can be used immediately and is particularly easy to portion.
